President Trump was supposed to release his own framework for ACA subsidies today….but it went over like a fart in church with House Republicans pushing back hard.

From an admin insider: Chances of a deal on the ACA subsidies is small. Dems caved and lost. White House has had “Obamacare” in its sights for a long time. This might be the chance to mortally wound it.

It’s election day today in several off-cycle states including New Jersey, Virginia and New York City. Hearing whispers that tonight’s results may make one side move to end the shutdown. If blue team gets trounced they might double down to seal a win for the midterms. If red team is flushed they may move more to the middle to move away from President Trump.

Bipartisan polling that shows that 69% of voters think healthcare is unaffordable has many on the red team nervous as the shutdown drags on…
