Val Lopez serves as the Assistant Vice President of Marketing Operations at Baptist Health South Florida, the region’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system. Tara J Nooteboom, MS, is Director of Consumer Digital Strategy at UCI Health, an academic health system in Orange County, CA. At UCI Health, Nooteboom oversees the digital consumer journey and experience roadmap. She and her team are responsible for driving access to care, transforming digital experiences, and orchestrating brand experience.
Since joining UCI Health in 2022, Nooteboom has been an instrumental player in the organization’s growth and digital transformation. Her leadership enabled the launch of the UCI Health digital front door in February 2023, followed by same-day care digital service navigation and new patient digital appointment access. These included launching the first-ever consumer website with scheduling options for the organization, since expanding to include several specialties and services and over 2000 appointments, as well as expansion of authenticated scheduling options in MyChart.

Carrie Liken currently works on the Healthcare and Life Sciences team at Snowflake. She has spent almost 20 years working at the intersection of healthcare and technology, and in that time, she has been educating organizations about the digital elements of the patient journey and how patients seek healthcare information using digital tools.
Liken most recently served as the Head of Industry for Healthcare at Yext, where she led the global healthcare business, including product, strategy, partnership development, and go-to-market. During her time at Yext, she visited over 400 health systems, payer, and pharma organizations, gaining a deep understanding of the key trends and challenges within the healthcare industry. Prior to Yext, Liken spent 8.5 years at Google, where she built their healthcare provider team within Google Ads. Pamela DeSalvo Landis is senior vice president of digital engagement at Hackensack Meridian Health, a $9 billion integrated health network in New Jersey.
She leads a team responsible for making access to and management of healthcare easier for patients, consumers, providers and team members. Jason Lesandrini, PhD., is an expert in ethics and leveraging innovative techniques to build ethical capacity, leaders, team, and culture. He leads the departments of ethics, advance care planning, spiritual health, and language access services for Wellstar Health System. In this role, Dr. Lesandrini provides leadership and resources to promote ethical behavior, decision-making, and conduct aligned with the system's mission, vision, and values.
As an educator, Jason serves as a faculty member for the Physician Assistant Programs at Mercer University and South College and teaches undergraduates at Georgia Tech. He has also worked as an ethics resource for numerous national professional organizations including The American College of Healthcare Executives, The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, The American Board of Medical Specialties, and others.
