Whispers

It’s election day today in several off-cycle states including New Jersey, Virginia and New York City. Hearing whispers that tonight’s results may make one side move to end the shutdown. If blue team gets trounced they might double down to seal a win for the midterms. If red team is flushed they may move more to the middle to move away from President Trump.

Bipartisan polling that shows that 69% of voters think healthcare is unaffordable has many on the red team nervous as the shutdown drags on…

Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) has broken with President Trump and is supporting the ACA subsidies.

Rumor has it some Dems in Senate are OK with a short 7 day clean CR so they can hash out the larger healthcare portion with the governement operating.
