BOCA RATON, FL — April 29, 2026 — BPD Healthcare announced today that the documentary, Everybody’s Work, produced in partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for the SHIFT Nursing project, has been voted Best Video & Film in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging in the 30th Annual Webby Awards. As a winner of the Webby People’s Voice Award, the film was selected as the top entry in its category by the voting public.
Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international organization recognizing excellence on the Internet.
The award-winning documentary, Everybody’s Work, addresses the prevalence of systemic racism in healthcare. The film was created as a response to staggering industry data, including a 2023 RWJF survey of over 1,000 nurses revealing that 6 in 10 have witnessed or experienced racism and discrimination from their own peers.
By giving people of color, specifically in nursing, a spotlight to tell their stories, Everybody’s Work challenges viewers to understand how racism impacts everyone, not just those who experience it. It is a call to action, reminding the public that while nurses are uniquely positioned to dismantle racial biases, it takes everyone to heal the grievous wounds of systemic racism. As the SHIFT Nursing campaign outlines, this is why it’s everybody’s work.
