Healthcare organizations served over 23 years
Most people run away from messy problems. We built a company to solve them.
We like complicated. How do you launch a breakthrough therapy? Grow neuro volumes? Prepare for AI? Catch a busy physician’s eye? Pull up a chair. This is our kind of conversation.

2005
All in on healthcare
We made healthcare our exclusive focus, investing deeply in the expertise needed to solve the industry’s toughest marketing and business challenges.

2022

2025
A broader ecosystem

10 years of great places to work
Named a Great Place to Work for the tenth consecutive year. A milestone that reflects the people, culture and collaboration behind everything we do.

Experience helps. Obsession matters more.
226 years of combined experience. Enough experience to know healthcare’s challenges aren’t getting simpler. And enough curiosity to keep chasing better answers.

Jason Brown
CEO
Jason Brown founded BPD in 2002 with a simple ambition: to help healthcare organizations grow, and do it better than anyone else. Since then, BPD has become the nation’s largest health system marketing firm, partnering with organizations like HCA Healthcare, Google for Health, Johnson & Johnson, and Catalyst Pharmaceuticals to drive transformative business outcomes.
Jason has always believed that great work starts with great service. He brought hospitality principles into BPD’s culture through a multi-year collaboration with The Ritz-Carlton, helping the company earn Fortune’s ‘Great Places to Work’ recognition for ten consecutive years.
He has also grown BPD well beyond the traditional agency model, spearheading the launch of its AI-driven data platform and precision marketing capabilities that have delivered ROI as high as 100:1 for leading health systems.
A frequent speaker on healthcare marketing, innovation, and leadership, Jason regularly shares his perspective at industry conferences and universities.
Fun fact:
Jason used to be the proud parent of a pot-bellied pig.

As President, she keeps the company moving with a sharp focus on client satisfaction, speed, and making the work better at every turn. Since joining BPD, she has transformed internal processes in ways that have increased efficiency, accelerated turnaround times, and strengthened client retention.
A trusted advisor to some of the nation’s largest healthcare organizations, including HCA Healthcare and AdventHealth, Jessica has a knack for connecting business priorities to the work required to move them forward. Her leadership has helped clients drive measurable growth while building long-term partnerships with BPD.
Fueled by gobs of coffee and grit, Jessica rarely runs out of energy. And when she’s not putting it to work at BPD, you’ll probably find her on the sidelines as her sons’ loudest — and proudest — soccer spectator.
Fun fact:
Jessica owns purple. Purple pens, paper clips, phone case, folders, stapler, photo frames, notebooks, candy jars…

She’s helped shape transformative campaigns for brands like Publix Super Markets, Marriott International, Hanes, Delta Air Lines, Netflix, The Ad Council, and AdventHealth. Mindy believes in the power of creativity to save lives, change lives, and make the world a more beautiful place so she’s passionate about helping her team and her clients use their superpowers for good. Whether she’s fishing for piranha in the Amazon or re-reading Pride & Prejudice for the 87th time, she’s never lukewarm about anything.
Fun fact:
She’s 4’-11″ …which is about the same height as that of Mickey Mouse.

Vanessa Anderson
Executive Vice President, People
Vanessa Anderson has spent the last 15 years filling BPD with A+ people — and making it a place they’re proud to work. As Executive Vice President of People, she leads BPD’s People and Operations teams and helps build the kind of culture where people can do the best work of their careers. Under her leadership, BPD has been named one of Fortune’s “Great Places to Work” ten years running.
Vanessa is a fierce advocate for great talent and the support people need to keep growing as the company grows around them. She’s also the keeper of BPD’s spirit of “one-ness”: the simple belief that teams do their best work when they truly work as one. She leads with empathy, high standards, and a healthy dose of grit.
Outside BPD, Vanessa is happiest with her family — usually exploring somewhere new or juggling a packed calendar of her kids’ activities, which is basically people operations with fewer meetings. When things slow down, she’s the one with her nose in a good book and a running list of restaurants to try.
Fun fact:
Vanessa speaks Dutch!

Trish Brawner
Executive Vice President, Client Services
Trish Brawner has spent nearly 20 years figuring out what makes great client relationships actually work. As Executive Vice President of Client Services, she leads the team responsible for building transformational partnerships and making sure BPD delivers the kind of client experience people remember for the right reasons.
Trish began her career at Leo Burnett in Chicago, working across global consumer brands, before moving into healthcare at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where she led marketing efforts. That mix of consumer marketing, healthcare experience, and data-informed thinking eventually brought her to BPD, where she helps clients connect strategy to growth.
Today, Trish works closely with some of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations to build relationships rooted in trust, collaboration, and measurable results.
Fun fact:
Long before she was rallying client teams, she was doing it with pom-poms: Trish was a teenage cheerleader, taught cheer camps in college, and even performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Kate Caverno
Senior Vice President Payer, Policy & Market Advisory
Kate Caverno works where healthcare gets complicated. As Senior Vice President of Payer, Policy & Market Advisory, she advises healthcare leaders through some of the industry’s toughest financial intersections, from payer negotiations and Medicare Advantage exits to OBBB, 340B, site-neutral payment, the No Surprises Act, price transparency requirements, Certificate-of-Need reform, and more.
She has also counseled major provider M&A efforts, including Corewell Health, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, UConn Health, and Wellstar MCG Health, helping leaders navigate positioning, regulatory engagement, reimbursement alignment, and reputation management.
Kate believes a healthcare organization’s financial health and public narrative are inseparable. Her work is built to protect both margin and brand equity — especially when the pressure is highest.
Fun fact:
That tendency to run toward hard problems does not stop at work. Outside BPD, Kate proudly serves as a volunteer firefighter and EMT near Louisville, Kentucky.

Joshua Donaghue
Executive Vice President, Tradigital Media
Josh Donaghue believes the best media does more than reach people. It earns their trust. As Executive Vice President of Media, he leads BPD’s media practice with the belief that great marketing is less about serving ads and more about creating real human connections that strengthen brands and inspire action.
Over the past 25 years, Josh has helped iconic consumer brands and some of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations rethink how media drives growth. His team brings together strategy, data, creativity, emerging technology, and community activation to reach people right where they are with exactly what they need.
Josh is relentless about what comes next, but equally serious about accountability. Every recommendation and every media dollar should have a clear purpose, measurable impact, and a meaningful contribution to growth.
A native South Floridian, Josh is happiest on or near the water. He also tends to a collection of more than 200 orchids — proof that lasting growth takes patience, care, and the right environment.
Fun fact:

As Executive Vice President of Data Solutions & Analytics, Tej brings deep expertise in enterprise data and AI strategy, with a particular talent for making complexity useful. Tej holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from Penn State University (#WeAre, #GoSteelers). When she’s not leading global teams or exploring the latest frontier of Agentic AI, she’s usually outside, often hiking the Great Smoky Mountains with her Golden Retriever, Daisy.
Fun fact:
Hailing from northern India,Tej is a quarter-Italian hand-talker who speaks three languages— ironically, Italian is not one of them.

As Executive Vice President of Client Operations, she builds the systems behind everything BPD delivers, making sure clients get the right mix of team, timing, budget, services, and counsel for the real business need behind the ask.
Under Amanda’s leadership, BPD’s project management and operations teams have become strategic partners in the work, pairing every project, program, and campaign with the business insight needed to make it a smartly run investment.
That perspective comes from 15 years—and roughly 15 versions — of BPD, where Amanda has worn hats across multiple departments. A certified PMP, she believes process is never finished and is constantly looking for a smarter way to get the work done.
Outside of work, Amanda is a self-described dabbler in wearables, nutrition, and whatever is next in wellness. She is always watching for the breakout brand that might change how people live healthier…and making sure BPD is built to help move it forward.
